The Dead Sea in Israel boasts the lowest elevation on the planet…It is a very salty sea that stings open wounds on the body, paradoxically healing them. Up above is the mountain of Masada, where a handful of Jews held off a Roman Legion of aggressors for some time…Nearby, within ambling distance, is a mud bath—for cleansing propensities….Like the Dead Sea, when my luck is bereft, “Women send me moo-ing to the bottom of the world!” Soaring, upbeat melodies with synthesizers are created AFTER I formulate the vocal melody in my head, for a change! “Got to kick it, yeah, back near those mountains—Just knowing, that I can’t get no low-ER-er-er…..”
